- Oh, by the way, d'you know this woman?
I shake my head, curiously observing the white-cloaked lady who's just walked in.
- Some call her the Maiden, some call her the Bride, but mostly they call for her whenever a wizard or some other twisted-minded scientist requires some of the worst, most valuable ingredients for their work.
- The worst? Like, virgin blood? Hearts of infants? Baby teeth?
The other person laughs grimly and waves their hand.
- No, those are way cheaper and easier to find. She hunts unicorns.
My breath hitches as i glance at her again. Busy with her drink, she doesn't seem to notice my curious eyes. I do notice something, though. The silver, glistening on her arms.
- Unicorn blood, - my interlocutor explains, following my gaze. Blood, hearts, hairs, horns, even the bones and the guts. She deals in all of those. Such terrible actions do leave their mark, you know. Just a drop of that blood on your skin and it stays forever. No gloves would help either, her magic wouldn't work like that.
I finish my drink as we sit in silence.
- They also say she's never been with neither a man nor a woman. I mean, how else would she lure so many of those horned beasts to their death? It stands to reason.
- Fair enough. The money she gets for the unicorns is probably more than worth it.
She leaves after a drink or two, silver shining on her face and her hands. I cannot help wondering where she's off to. Is she going to hunt now? Or is there a place somewhere with a loving companion, or at least a reasonably-loving cat? And does she ever regret all the blood on her hands?
Such a shame I'll never find out.

Interesting character with interesting story! I think she is very charming, in the way she's mysterical and also ruthless to kill a unicorn for benefits. Also I like the appearance of this character. Look at those bloody hands, and unique outfit too! it's very impressive! I really love this!
